Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is launching a special short term course for school children from summer year to summer vacations. Under this program, the students of Class 9 children of the State Board, CBSE and ICSE School will be selected.
ISRO has named this program for the students of the school as a youth program – ‘Yuvika’. Through this program, children will be told about astronomical events. Interest in space science will be created.Under the program, three children of class nine will be selected from each state and union territories. The responsibility of the selection of students will be the Chief Secretary of the state and its basis will be demonstrated in the academic and extractorial activity of the students.
IIT Delhi broke the placement in the last 10 years, the students have received 1000 job offers till date. Students of rural background will be given special emphasis on ISRO’s program. This will be a two-week training program. There will also be arrangements for students staying there. This program will start on summer vacation.
Selected children will be given training at ISRO’s three centers in Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram and Ahmedabad. The list of selected students for the program is likely to be available to the states by ISRO at the end of this month.Reinstatement of SI, ASI and Constable posts in SSB, apply before April one
ISRO is also going to create a gallery with capacity of 10 thousand people at Sriharikota based launch site in Andhra Pradesh. ISRO is trying to launch it before India’s Chandrayaan mission.
